Editorial Policy
Our Standards & Independence
The integrity of LeelineWear depends on our independence from the factories and logistics firms we cover. Our readers — wholesalers, retailers, and brand owners — rely on us for unbiased procurement advice.
1. Mandatory Financial Disclosures
All contributors and editors must disclose the following annually:
- Manufacturing Interests: Ownership or significant stock in any garment factory, textile mill, or logistics company.
- Affiliate Relationships: We clearly label links where we may earn a commission. However, our editorial team is strictly prohibited from allowing commission rates to influence "Supplier Rankings."
- Sourcing Samples: Any fabric swatches or "Salesman Samples" received for review must be disclosed.
2. Review Samples & Factory Visits
To maintain a "Zero-Bias" policy regarding manufacturers:
- Sample Disposal: Garment samples provided for quality testing are either archived in our "Reference Library" for long-term durability testing or donated to textile recycling programs. They are never kept for personal use by staff.
- Travel Policy: We do not accept "sponsored factory tours" where the manufacturer pays for airfare or five-star lodging. All site inspections are funded by LeelineWear to ensure we can report on labor conditions and floor safety without obligation.
3. Resistance to Industry Pressure
As an authority in the Apparel Manufacturing space, we often face pressure from large-scale manufacturers to remove negative quality reports.
- Independence Clause: We do not offer "Pay-to-Play" placements in our "Top 10 Suppliers" lists.
- Advertiser Separation: Our advertising sales team and editorial team operate behind a "Chinese Wall." Advertisers have no prior review of editorial content and no power to veto critical reports on supply chain transparency.
